Kieran Palmer Ex-Army Mechanic raises money for SSAFA

An Ex-Army Mechanic from Norfolk is fundraising for a charity which helped him when he left the armed forces.

Kieran Palmer completed the Tour de Broads race for the Soldiers', Sailors' and Airmen's Families Association (SSAFA). This is the charity which supported him and helped him rebuild a career after he was discharged with mental health issues.

He served with the 15 Signal Regiment for almost 5 years, and now repairs heavy machinery, which he said has given him a sense of purpose and mobility.

Kieran was joined by his uncle and cousin, who cycled 100 miles between them, taking in the sights of the countryside at a slower pace. They have now successfully raised more than £400 for the Soldiers', Sailors' and Airmen's Families Association.
