Roads policing action day resulted in four arrests

Four arrests, 12 vehicle seizures, and over £45,000 was recovered last week as a result of a multi-agency action day, targeted at disrupting criminality on our roads.

Coordinated by Norfolk’s Roads and Armed Policing Team, the operation was held at the Norfolk Showground on Tuesday 30 September 2025, with 68 vehicles being escorted to the designated site for checks throughout the day, and only ten leaving without having committed any offences.

One man was arrested on suspicion of money laundering following a search of his seized vehicle, in which a large quantity of cash and multiple phones were found.

Two further arrests were made at the check site on suspicion of drug driving, after both drivers failed drug wipes. They were taken to Wymondham Police Investigation Centre for questioning and later released under investigation while enquiries continue.
