Traffic changes are being brought in at Norwich's thickthorn roundabout after weeks of complaints from residents.
From tomorrow, the A47 eastbound merge point will be moved further along to ease congestion during the £200m upgrade.
The scheme is one of several major roadworks causing delays around the city.
Officials say the improvements will eventually deliver smoother, more reliable journeys.
