Demolition work has begun at Norwich's Anglia Square, marking what the City Council calls an historic day.
The 1960 shopping centre has been cleared to make way for a £350 million redevelopment.
The first phases will deliver 350 homes, half of them affordable. Demolition is expected to continue into the spring.
