More bird flu cases have been confirmed this winter

Two new cases of bird flu have been confirmed in Norfolk.

Daphne says the H5N1 strain was detected at a large commercial poultry site near Swaffham and in a small back garden flock in Watton.

Protection and surveillance zones of up to 10km are now in place with all poultry inside them to be humanely culled.

It brings the total number of cases in the east of England to 11. The risk to the public remains very low.
