A retired engineer has been honoured for preserving the memory of an historic Fenland tramway.
Bill Smith, who created the Whiz Beach Up World Tram Project, installed information boards along the former route and researched the line's history.
The Wild Creek Trust surprised him with a special award, a replica of the original tram engine, praising his efforts to ensure the iconic 1883 tramway is never forgotten.
