Bathing water at Heacham has improved from poor to sufficient in the latest Environment Agency results.
The beach had been rated poor since 2021, but officials say this season shows encouraging progress.
The Environment Agency says it will continue working to reduce pollution linked to sewage, agriculture and wildlife in the wash, where studies suggest seabirds may account for much of the bacteria found.
