Norwich Castle says its dungeon will reopen to visitors in early spring after mould was cleared from the space.
The area stayed closed when the castle reopened last summer, following a major restoration.
Norfolk Museums Service says the dungeon has now been cleaned, with new measures in place to prevent damp returning, and a new guided tour is being prepared.
