Two former directors of Cawston Park Hospital in Norfolk have lost a £30m High Court claim against the county's police chief.
Andrew Breeze and Dominic Wilson allege they were maliciously prosecuted for fraud after charges against them were dropped in 2009, but a judge ruled officers acted properly and genuinely believed the men were guilty.
Norfolk's Chief Constable Paul Sanford welcomed the decision, calling it a vindication of his officers' integrity.
