Former cancer patient paints 170 portraits of NHS staff

A former cancer patient from Thetford has painted portraits of ambulance workers as a thank you for their care.

Psychotherapist Chris Goddard began painting during lockdown while undergoing breast cancer treatment and has now completed nearly 170 portraits of NHS staff.

Among them are paramedics from the East of England Ambulance Service who say the gesture is both touching and deeply appreciated.
