Norfolk County Council says its bus service improvement plan has helped boost passenger numbers by 26% since 2022.
A report discussed this week shows £65 million of funding from the Department for Transport has delivered new and improved routes, faster journeys to Norwich and Great Yarmouth, and cheaper fares.
The scheme has also introduced zero-emission buses and better real-time information.
