Norwich City claimed all three points in a 2-1 win against Derby County on Tuesday evening, Mohammed Touré and Liam Gibbs on the scoresheet.
The Australian striker put the Canaries in front in the first-half and following an equaliser from the visiting side, Gibbs netted his second ever City goal which was eventually the winner.
Philippe Clement made two changes to the side that beat Bristol City on Saturday; Jack Stacey and Amankwah Forson replacing Oscar Schwartau and Ali Ahmed.
After a high pressing start from the Canaries, they were rewarded with a penalty inside five minutes after a foul on Forson.
Touré stepped up but was unable to convert, Derby's Jacob Zetterstrom diving the right way and parrying the strike away.
City then hit Derby on the counter, Paris Maghoma picking the ball up and driving through the middle to find Forson, whose effort was only narrowly too high.
The in-form City striker then redeemed himself shortly after his penalty miss, putting the Canaries in front after half an hour played with a rifling shot that hit the underside of the crossbar and went into the back of the net.
Zetterstrom was called into action again when Kenny McLean stood over a Norwich free-kick on the edge of the area, the County goalkeeper diving low to keep the shot out.
The visitors did have an attempt at goal through Sammie Szmodics, who tried to beat Vladan Kovačević from range but wasn't quick enough.
The second 45 minutes started with City firmly in control, as they looked the more dangerous of the two sides in possession.
Maghoma and Touré linked up well for the former to get a shot only inches wide of the target.
Sondre Langås had a shot on target for the visitors that Kovačević was even to, but just a minute later and David Ozoh had Derby level with a strike inside the area on his right foot.
The scores were even for just five minutes however, as Gibbs put Norwich back in front with a lovely strike set up again by Maghoma.
After Mathias Kvistgaarden entered the field with half an hour left on the clock, the striker tried his luck from the edge of the area but couldn't keep his effort down.
Kovačević then pulled off a double save after two consecutive Derby strikes found the target in the 75th minute of play.
The final chance of the tie came through Errol Mundle-Smith who was through on goal after breaking away from the Derby defence, but his strike was smothered by Zetterstrom and the follow-up from Pelle Mattsson blocked.
The Canaries are back at Carrow Road on Saturday for the final home game of the season against Swansea City.
