Freedom of Great Yarmouth has been announced

A boxing coach and local lifesavers have been awarded the Freedom of the Borough of Great Yarmouth.

Honours went to Heart2Heart founder Jane Biggs, retired surgeon Hugh Sturzica and 87-year-old boxing coach Cecil Page.

The Samaritans were also recognised for decades of support work.

Mayor Carl Anderson said their service is an inspiration to the whole community.
