Campaigners in Sheringham are celebrating

Campaigners in Sheringham are celebrating after a town council vote saved a 1950s bus shelter from demolition.

Protesters have been occupying the shelter for more than a week to oppose plans for a new transport hub.

In a narrow vote, councillors withdrew support for bulldozing the structure.

Norfolk County Council says it's disappointed but will halt work and leave the site.
