Norfolk County Council has relaunched its Giving Tree appeal to bring books to children in care this Christmas.
The tree at Waterstones in Norwich is decorated with tags showing a child's book choice which shoppers can buy and donate.
Organisers say the scheme has provided thousands of gifts over nearly 20 years.
Books need to be purchased by December 7th to be delivered in time for Christmas Day.
